The Metrel MI2884 Energy Master XA Power Quality Analyser is a handheld three-phase PQA optimised for detection and long-term logging of harmonics, phasors and waveform anomalies. It is also designed to enable post-processing of recorded data.
The Metrel MI2884 Energy Master XA Power Quality Analyser can be used to ascertain the energy-efficiency of electrical installations and identify ways and places where energy consumption, and therefore energy costs, may be reduced. To this end, the Metrel MI2884 Energy Master XA Power Quality Analyser includes the following measurement functions:

The Metrel MI2884 Energy Master XA Power Quality Analyser’s three voltage channels have a wide measurement range that spans 0 to 1000Vrms (CAT III/ 1000V), while its four current channels support automatic clamp recognition and ‘on instrument’ range selection. The Metrel MI2884 Energy Master XA Power Quality Analyser also supports current clamp auto range selection and automatic smart clamp detection and smart clamp range detection.
The quick-set buttons, intuitive menu and large icons make accessing the relevant functions easy and provide a faster data overview. Furthermore, the Metrel MI2884 Energy Master XA Power Quality Analyser’s easy-to-read, graphical, colour display allows the user to perform on-site analysis and data checks.
Data can be saved to the supplied 8GB microSD memory card; the Metrel MI2884 Energy Master XA Power Quality Analyser can support microSD memory cards with capacities up to 32GB. The supplied Metrel PowerView3 Software allows data to be read and downloaded from the microSD card and subsequently analysed and used to create a professional report.
Finally, the Metrel MI2884 Energy Master XA Power Quality Analyser features colour-coded input terminals and terminal labels to suit the application region and is compliant with the power quality standard IEC 61000-4-30 Class S.
